On 8 Jan. 2014 we had a pleasure to receive a visit of doctoral students of law from Masaryk University in Brno. The visit was organized by the Foundation of University Law Clinics. The Ombudsman’s meeting with the Swiss doctoral fellows took place in her office. The guests had a chance to learn about the activity of the university ombudsman. Mrs Cybulko explained the principles guiding her work, discussed the methods of work and typical cases and answered the visitors’ questions. We hope we have provided inspiration for another institution of higher education.
The office of the Ombudsman has an important role to play in the academic community. Therefore, we are pleased with any interest in our activities by other institutions of higher education. We thank our guests for their visit and wish them luck and perseverance in their activities. We are holding our fingers crossed for their success and look forward to further cooperation.
