In accordance with Ordinance No 30 of The Rector of the University of Warsaw on the 16th of August 2011 on the appointment of the Ombudsman at the University of Warsaw, the Ombudsman acts in accordance with the principles of confidentiality, impartiality and neutrality.

A further guarantee of the Ombudsman’s impartiality and neutrality is the office’s independence of other organizational units of the University.
