The meeting took place on 30 June 2014 in the office of the Human Rights Defender (HRD), Prof. Irena Lipowicz, on her invitation. The meeting was attended by the UW Ombudsman, Anna Cybulko, Dr. Ewa Gmurzyńska from the Center for Dispute and Conflict Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration, Deputy HRD, Dr. Ryszard Czerniawski, and senior legal advisor to HRD, Dariusz Supeł.
Our collaboration with the Human Rights Defender (the Polish Ombudsman) started during this year’s ENOHE conference, at the HRD’s initiative. At the meeting, the University Ombudsman was re-assured of the Human Rights Defender’s support, who promised to back her activities and help in their further development.
We look forward to an opportunity to collaborate with the HRD on educational projects in the near future.
