Scientific employees and students’ disciplinary responsibility debate

On the 10- th of October 2019, Ms. Magdalena Miksa took part as a speaker in the debate on disciplinary responsibility of students and academic teacher organized by the Law Ethics Students Society – a scientific group working at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. During the discussion, the following issues were raised: academic teacher’s profession vs student dignity, administrative procedure regulations and its repressive characteristic, problems of evidence in disciplinary proceedings, situations of “word against word”, manifestations of unequal treatment and discrimination versus disciplinary proceedings, the most common disciplinary offenses students and academics, the impact of a disciplinary penalty on the possibility of practicing a legal profession.
