Workshop “Legal context of the psychologist’s work in the academic psychological help center”

On the 4th of September, the Ombudsman and her Team conducted a workshop called “Legal Context of Working as a Psychologist in the University Psychological Counselling Centre”. The workshop was intended for the employees of the Psychological Counselling Centre of The University of Warsaw and the Psychological Counselling Centre of the Medical University of Warsaw. In the course of the meeting, the participants were informed about the general legal context arising from the Psychology Profession Act and the PTP Code of Ethics. Clarification was provided on matters which were previously unregulated, such as confidentiality, document archiving and GDPR. The participants worked in teams, creating solutions which would help them navigate the aforementioned topics.
