The 11th Annual Conference of the European Network of Ombudsmen in Higher Education (ENOHE) took place on the premises of the University of Warsaw on 15-17 May, 2014. The conference was organized by the Center for Dispute and Conflict Resolution at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and the Office of Independent Adjudicator (Great Britain).
The conference was the first one both to be hosted by Poland and attended by the UW Ombudsman, who has been conducting her activities since November 2011.
Among the participants of the ENOHE conference in Warsaw were university ombudsmen from numerous countries, including Great Britain, Canada, the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Mexico.
Our University Ombudsman for student and employee affairs, Anna Cybulko, gave a presentation entitled: “Empowering the ombudsman: How to find, choose and appoint the correct person?”
The three days of the ENOHE conference were a period of exciting and fruitful cooperation with our counterparts. We are looking forward to meeting them again next year!
