The UW Equality Team in cooperation with the Center for Research on Prejudice and the Education Quality Evaluation Unit (PEJK) are conducting a survey devoted to the issues of equality and diversity at our university. The research study is under the honorary patronage of His Magnificence the Rector of the University of Warsaw.
In the first half of 2024, qualitative research was carried out – in-depth group interviews with various groups (including students, PhD candidates, persons employed at the UW and members of dean’s colleges). Now it’s time for a survey.
The survey (in Polish and English versions) will start in December 2024 and will be addressed to:
- students,
- doctoral students,
- researchers and lecturers,
- persons employed in administration and other non-academic positions.
The aim of the survey is to collect the opinions and experiences of members of our community regarding various manifestations of unequal treatment while working and studyiun at the university. The responses will allow us to determine the scale of undesirable behaviour related to unequal treatment of individuals in the UW community.
The results of the study will be used to prepare a new edition of the Inclusive Gender Equality Plan for UW for 2025-2029.
A link to the survey sent by e-mail is be available via the USOS account. The survey is active from December 2 to January 12.
Below you can find a letter from the Rector of the University of Warsaw encouraging you to take part in the research study
